Nepal, Surendra Vikrama, Silver Campaign Medal, VS 1912 (1855), awarded to the soldiers of 'Sher Paltan' (Lion Battalion) of the Nepalese army during the 3rd Nepal-Tibet War of 1855-1857 AD, dated VS1912, during the reign of King Surendra Vir Vikram Sah Deo, obv. sword and sacrificial flower garland in centre; Nepalese legend Si 1912 Sal Ma Gorkha Sarkar Watbho Tanka, rev, shield in centre; Nepalese legend Shri 3 Maharaja Jang Bahadur Sher Paltam. (KM.-, CM1). With mount for wearing, very fine with plain edge.
