Group of Five to POW: 1939-45 Star; France & Germany Star; Defence Medal 1939-45; War Medal 1939-45; Australia Service Medal 1939-45. 436224 N.H.Teede. All medals impressed. Mounted for display, extremely fine.

Together with a set of his father's WWI dog tags (3478 Teede D.V.) and a dog tag for his own service in the AMF with 29th Garrison Bn (W41625 Teede N.H.) and another for his RAAF service (436224 Teede N.H.).

W/O RAAF Neville Hamlin Teede, student teacher, age 18, born at Bunbury, WA; Enl.18Nov1942 at Perth, WA; Shot down over Germany when the Halifax he was a crew member in, after bombing Dortmund, took a direct hit and crew were forced to bale out, 08Mar1945. He was captured immediately and sent to a P.O.W. camp; rescued later by American forces; Promoted temp W/O 14Apr1945; RTA Jul1945 Disch.20Dec1945.

With extensive research including photocopy pages of Observer's, Air Gunner's and W/T Operator's Flying Log Book, photocopy extracts taken from 'Phoenix Book 2 The Reincarnation' by A.G.Batten, booklet of drawings, newspaper article, photographs, identity card, souvenir booklet of the visit of the American Naval Squadron to Australia (page torn); Official Programme of HMAS Australia Visit to Bunbury, August 26th to August 31st 1934.
