Herbert Claude Hubble, farmer, age 30, born at Wateringbury, Kent, England; Enl.26Sep1915 at Bendigo, Vic in 2DAC; Emb.16Nov1915; to Gunner 16Oct1915 at Gallipoli; to hospital with rheumatism 03Feb1916; trf to 22 Howitzer Bde 10Mar1916; trf to 2DAC 13May1916, France; TOS 5FAB 16Aug1916; TOS 2DAC 04Jun1917; mustered as Dvr 12Jun1917; TOS 5FAB 11Aug1917; TOS 2DAC 19May1918; fought in Battle of Hamel 04Jul1918; to hospital with fractured clavicle 27Aug1918; RTA 08Sep1919; Disch.29Jan1920.

In the Victorian Government Gazette No 34 dated 22 February 1939, Herbert Claude Hubble was recorded as a Water Bailiff in the Water Supply Department. Herbert Hubble died on 18 May 1960 at Bendigo, Victoria.
