Queensland Police Force, Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee Medal in bronze, 1897, by R.Capner. Constable T.J.Reilly. Engraved. Edge bump and nick, otherwise toned very fine.
Some of Constable T.J.Reilly's appointments included the following.
17Oct1898 Inspector of slaughterhouses and cattle intended for slaughter; Assistant District Registrar of births and deaths; and Acting Mining Registrar at Paradise; 30Jun1902 Assistant District Registrar of births and deaths at Stephens until transferred 17Nov1902; 12Jan1903 to be First-Class Constable from Fortitude Valley to Miles; 21Feb1903 to be Acting Clerk of Petty Sessions and Inspector of slaughterhouses at Miles; 21Dec1905 appointed licensing Inspector at Condamine.
