Pair: Queen's South Africa Medal 1899, (type 2 reverse with evidence of removal of dates), - two clasps - Cape Colony, Orange Free State; King's South Africa Medal 1902, two clasps - South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902, both medals with pin-back suspender. 3669. Pte. R.W.Atkins. Gren. Gds on first medal, 3669 Pte R.W.Atkins, Grenadier Guards. on second medal. First medal engraved and second medal impressed, both British Army style. Second ribbon dirty, first medal with a few small edge nicks, second medal with a few small edge bumps, otherwise toned very fine.
