India, Mughal, Aurangzeb, (A.H. 1068-1118, A.D.1658-1707), round gold mohur, (11.06 g), struck at Allahabad Mint, issued A.H. 1113 (A.D. 1701-1702), regnal year 45, obv. Aurangzeb name at top, rev. mint name at base on reverse, (KM.315.9). As struck, extremely fine, scarce.

Ex Dr L.J. Sherwin Collection, acquired from I.S.Wright (Wynyard retail), February 10, 1997 previously from a British India Civil servant.
