India, Independent States, Vijayanagar, Devaraya I or II, (A.D. 1406-1422 or 1426-1466), gold pagoda 10mm, (3.41 g), Umamahewara type, obv. Siva and Parvati seated facing, rev. ri pra/tapa deva/raya in Devanagari, (Ramesan Type X(a); cf.Mitchiner, South I, 450 (for type); MNI 879 (same); Friedberg 352). Struck with sharp obverse die, extremely fine and rare.
