Italy, Naples under Spanish Rule, Kingdom of Naples, Ferdinand IV of Bourbon (1759-1799), piastra of 120 Grana 1791, 42mm, (26.89 g), obv. FERDINANDVS IV ET M CAROLINA VNDIQ FELICES, cojoined bust to right, rev. SOLI REDVCI, band of the Zodiac with the signs of Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn (those of the months following the departure of the sovereigns) and the Sun illuminating the globe; the initials AP / M; on either side of the globe, (Pannuti-Riccio 59; MIR 372; Gig. 59, Dav. 1407, KM. C 68). Toned, good fine and scarce.
