Italy, Napoli (Regno), Ferdinando I (Don Ferrante), (1458-1494), silver coronation 24mm, (3.59 g), fourth coinage, Group b1. Napoli (Naples) mint, Gian Carlo Tramontano, mint master, struck 1488-1494, obv. FERANDVS ARAGON REX SI HISRV, crowned and armored bust right; I to left; annulet and double annulet stops, rev. IVSTA TV ENDA, Archangel Michael right, spearing dragon to lower right; banner on spear end, (CNI XIX 485, cf.Pannuti-Riccio 18b [for type], MIR 70/2, MEC 14, 1001). A few weak areas of legend, toned, very fine, rare.
