Italy, Kingdom of Naples, Charles II, as Count of Anjou and Provence, (1285-1309), billon denaro (denarius), 17mm, (0.75 g), struck 1290-1292, obv. facing crowned bust, rev. voided cross fleuree, (CNI XIX pg. 18, 28, MEC 14, 689) (illustrated); another similar, 17mm, (0.63 g); another Napoli, Giovanna I d'Angio (Joanna) (1343-1347), billon denarius, 14mm, (0.36 g), obv.+ IOhAnnA DEI GRATIA, coat of arms, rev. traces of IERL ET SICILIE REGINA, cross with four lilies, (CNI 34, Pann. 3, Biaggi 1641). Fine - nearly very fine, second with flan crack, scarce. (3)
