Justin II, (A.D. 565-578), silver siliqua (1.89 g), Constantinople mint, obv. helmeted, diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right legend around, rev. Justin standing right, holding spear and globus cruciger, star to right, in exergue COB, (S.356, DOC 18, MIBE 30); another silver half siliqua, (1.11 g) Carthage mint, obv. helemeted and cuirassed bust facing holding shield, traces of legend around, rev. FELIX/ RES/ PVBLC in wreath, (S.392, DOC 191, MIB 32); another silver 100 nummi, (0.50 g), Carthage mint, obv. similar, rev. monogram around M, (S.392B, DOC-, MIB 34). First with flat strike areas, others with hoard patina, and edge breaks, otherwise generally fine and rare. (3)
