Justinian I, (527-565), AE follis, Constantinople mint, (23.58 g), issued year 12 = 538-539, officina **D*, obv. Justinian bust facing, DN IVSTINI ANVS PP AVC, rev. M, **D* below, year X/II, CON in exergue, large thin flan, (S.163, DOC.37d, BMC 43, Hahn 95a.1d). Large flan, with green patination, otherwise nearly extremely fine and scarce.
