Valens, (364-378), silver siliqua, Lugdunum mint, issued c.366 (2.04 g), obv. pearl-diademed bust of Valens to right, around DN VALEN S PF AVG, rev. RESTITV TOR REIP around, Valens in military dress standing facing, head right, holding standard and Victory on a globve, PLVG. in exergue, (S.19663, RIC 6, RSC.28c). Dark tone, very fine and scarce.
