Carausius, (A.D. 287-293), billon antoninianus, Colchester mint, (3.90 g), obv. radiate draped and cuirassed bust of Carausius to right, around IMP CARAVSIVS P F AVG, rev. around P A X AVG, Pax standing to left holding vertical sceptre and branch, S P either side, C in exergue, (S.13650) (illustrated), another similar PAX AVGGG reverse, (4.28 g), (S.13666); Allectus, (A.D. 293-296), billon antoninianus, C mint (Colchester), issued 293-6, (3.75 g), obv. radiate cuirassed bust of Allectus to right, around IMP C ALLECTVS P AVG, rev. AEQVIT AS AVG, Aequitas standing left, holding scales and cornucopiae, S P across, C in exergue, (S.13797), (illustrated); another AE quinarius, (2.71 g), (S.13870). Fine - very fine, scarce. (4)
