Herennius Etruscus, son of Trajan Decius, (A.D. 251), silver antoninianii, issued 250-251 A.D., Rome Mint, (4.09 g), obv. radiate bust draped to right, of Herennius Etruscus, Q HER ETR MES DECIVS NOB C around, rev. PIETAS AVGG around, Mercury standing to left, holding purse and caduceus, (S.9520. RIC 142b, RSC 11). Good very fine, scarce.
Ex Dr V.J.A. Flynn Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 107 (lot 3885 part) the Hungarian 1930s Collection.
