Gordian I (A.D. 28), sestertius, Rome Mint (19.08 g), obv. laureate bust right, around IMP CAES M ANT GORDIANVS AFR AVG, rev. Gordian standing left holding branch and parazonium, around P M T-R P COS P P S-C (RIC.7, S.8449, Cohen.3). Green patina, nearly very fine and very rare.
