Septimius Severus, (A.D. 193-211), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 204, (3.21 g), obv. laureate head of Septimius Severus to right, around SEVERVS PIVS AVG, rev. around P M TR P XII COS III P P, Genius naked standing left sacrificing at altar, holding grain ears, (S.6335, RIC 195, BMC 467, RSC 464). Earthern patina nearly extremely fine.
