Galba, (A.D. 68-69), AE as, (12.08 g), Rome mint, issued A.D. 68, obv. obv. bare head of Galba to right, around IMP SER GALBA CAES AVG P M TR P, rev. Libertas standing to left, holding pileus and vertical rod, around LIBERTAS PVBLICA, S C across, (cf.S.2134, RIC 366 [dupondius], BMC 121 note). Dark patina, mild surface roughness, very fine or better and scarce.
