Man. Acilius Glabrio, (c.49 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.83 g), obv. Salus laureate head to right, SALVTIS upwards behind, rev. Valetudo (Salus) standing left leaning against column and holding serpent, around MN ACILIVS [II]I VIR VALETV, (S.412, Cr.442/1a, Syd.922, B.Acilia 8). Struck off centre otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
