Italy, Calabria, Tarentum, Alexander the Molossian, king of Epeiros, (350-330 B.C.), gold twelfth stater, issued 334-330, (0.65 g), obv. radiate head of Helios facing slightly left, rev. thunderbolt, **AL / EX* in two lines above and below, (S.1984, BMC 2, SNG ANS 976, Vlasto 1865). Extremely fine and rare.
