Phoenicia, Tyre, Ozmilk (Azemilkos), (c.349-311/0 B.C.), silver shekel (20mm), (8.20 g), dated RY 14 (336/5 B.C.). obv. deity, holding reins and arched bow, riding hippocamp right above two lines of waves; below, dolphin right, circle ornamentation around, rev. owl standing to right, head facing; crook and flail in background; crescent and O over |||| ([for Ozmilk] and 14 [date], in Phoenician) in right field, circle ornamentation around, (cf.S.5915, E&E-T Group II.2.1.25; HGC 10, 349; DCA 918). Lightly toned, traces of hoard patination, a little off centre on reverse, otherwise nearly very fine and very rare.
