Italy, Papale (Stato pontificio), Clement XII, (1730-1740), silver testone, 31mm, (8.40 g), Rome mint, Dually-dated RY VII and 1736, obv. bust right, wearing camauro, mozzetta, and pallium, rev. Fortuna reclining left, holding wheel, (CNI XVII 135; Muntoni 25; Berman 2619). As struck, good extremely fine, lightly toned.
Ex Dr L.J. Sherwin Collection, bought from Max Stern December 6, 1983, previously from Geoff K. Gray Auction Sale, December 6, 1973 (lot 696), coming from the G.C. Heyde Collection.
