Italy, Papale (Stato pontificio), Pius V, (1566-1572), silver bianco 30mm, (4.61 g), Bologna mint, obv. bust right, wearing zucchetto and mantum, rev. lion rampant left, holding banner, (CNI 10, Muntoni 49, Berman 1116); another Gregory XIII, (1572-1585), silver testone, 29mm, (9.15 g), Rome mint, obv. Bust right wearing mantum, rev. the baptism of Christ by St. John the Baptist, (CNI XVI 256; Muntoni 64-65; Berman 1165). Fine, toned, both very scarce. (2)
