Italy, Papale (Stato pontificio), Pius IV (1559-1565), silver bianco, 29mm, (4.40 g), Bologna mint, obv. bust right, wearing zucchetto and mantum, rev. lion salient left, holding banner, (CNI 15, Muntoni 70, Berman 1076); another silver triple giulio or testone, 30mm, (9.34 g), Rome mint, obv. around PIVS IIII PONT MAX, de Medici coat-of-arms; crossed keys and parasol above, rev. S PETRVS APOSTOLVS, St. Peter seated facing, holding key and raising hand in benediction; in exergue, RO (C on shield surmounted by patriarchal cross) MA, (CNI XV 8; Muntoni 1; Berman 1063). First coin broken and repaired, second coin good very fine, both toned, both scarce. (2)
