Italy, Papale (Stato pontificio), Benedict IV, (900-903), silver denarius, 19mm, (1.12 g), in the name of Louis III, Holy Roman Emperor, Rome mint, obv. + (horizontal S)C(horizontal S) PETRV(horizontal S), BENEDICTVS monogram; pellet below, rev. + LVDOVVICV(horizontal S) (MP), ROMA monogram, (CNI XV 3; Muntoni 2; Berman 54; MEC 1, 1066). Toned, toned a few minor deposits, otherwise very fine and extremely rare.

A similar example in CNG recent sale Triton XX, January 10, 2017 (lot 1292) realised $6000 US and the other Kunker Auction 227, March 11, 2013 (lot 2258) realised 3400 Euros. These represent the only two examples in Coin Archives.
