India, Kushan Empire, various rulers noted Heraios, (c. 1-30 A.D.), silver obol (0.66g), obv. diademed bust of beardless tyrant right, rev. soldier standing, holding the remnant of a wreath, stylized Greek legend on either side, (Mitchiner 2840-2), (illustrated); AE various issues (12) and sizes from Vima Kadphises I, Huvishka, Soter Megas, etc, noted an example of Kanishka I, (c.127-151 A.D.). AE tetradrachm 25mm, (15.34 g), Main mint in Kapisha (Begram?), middle phase, obv. Kanishka standing left, sacrificing over altar and holding standard, rev. Athsho, hand on hip, standing left, holding diadem in outstretched hand, tamgha to left, (Gobl 772, ANS Kushan 459-79, Donum Burns 153-7), (illustrated) (ex Spink Sydney March 25, 1981). Very good - very fine, several scarce. (14)
