France, Monnaies Feudal, Champagne - Provins et Sens, silver denier (1.12 g), (c.1050-1100 A.D.), obv. Comb with a diamond cross between two Rings, rev. Cross in the angles Alpha-Omega and one ball each. (CP.887, cf.Boudeau 1754); another Theobald I, (1.10 g), obv. monogram, around + PETVS EPICOPVS, rev. cross in angle, small cross with inscription, + TRECAS CIVITAS, (Poey d'Avanat 5947, cf.Boudeau 1743); County of Provence, Theobald II, billon denier, 18mm, (0.81, 1.05 g), (1125-1152 A.D. obv. + TEBALT COMES, cross, rev. CASTRI PRVVINS, comb surmounted by Y and annulets, (Boudeau 1759, PA 5970). Mostly fine scarce. (4)
