Ld monogram in centre around PRIMAS EDWS, (Roberts 3984, Poey d'Avant 5028); Maine, silver deniers, (1.19, 1.03 g), Herbert I (1015-1036), obv. monogram of Herbert I, COMES CENOMANIS. rev. short cross pattee with a pellet in the 1st and 2nd angle, an alpha in the 3rd and an omega in the 4th, around SIGNVM DEI VIVI, (PdA. 1580, Boudeau 171) (one illustrated ex Seaby Coin and Medal Bulletin July 1978 (item P180); Metz-Bistum, John of Apremont, (1224-1238), silver denier (0.75 g), obv. Bishop hipbone, mitrated, with Pedum around traces, JOhAN-NE-S, rev. METENSIS, cross, in the angles crescent moon - star, alternating, (Boudeau 1128, Wendling II/E/m/15).
