Islamic Dynasties, Ottoman, Suleyman I (The Magnificent), (AH 926-974, AD 1520-1566), gold sultani 19mm, (3.49 g), Misr (Egypt) mint, dated 926 AH (1520 AD), obv. "Striker of the glittering, Master of might and victorious of land and sea", rev. "Sultan Suleyman, son of Selim, Lord, may his victory be glorious, minted in the metropolis of Egypt, 926", (Album 1317; cf.Mitchiner 1253, Wilkes 3158). Crinkled, very fine, scarce.
