Germany, an accumulation of covers with a few as folded sheets as letters, from 1871 (several as pre stamped covers) to mid 1950s, includes State issues Baden 1870 (SG 29), others Bavaria (16), mostly 1910-1920's; Empire - early Republic, issues from 1870s - 1920's (47); Weimar Republic (1918-1933) include flight covers (7, one illustrated) on 'Hindenburg' mostly to North America, others mostly as general usuage with 12pf Hitler portait type, a few as commens (46, one 10 April 1938 with M/S SG MS635 and SG 650 illustrated); Post War (1945-1950s) mostly including Allied issues of 1946 (131).
