Tiberius III, (A.D. 698-705), gold solidus, Constantinople mint, (4.51 g), officina **D*, 4th officina, obv. crowned bust facing with short beard, wearing crown and holding spear, around d TIbERI US PE AV, rev. VICTOR[IA] AUGU**D* around, cross potent on three steps, beneath CONOB, (S.1360, BMC -, T.-, DOC 1c, MIB1). Bent and straightened flan, area of flat striking, nearly extremely fine and very rare.
