Constans II, (A.D. 641-668), gold solidus, Constantinople mint, issued 641-646, (4.33 g), 4th officina, obv. small bust facing of Constans beardless, wearing chlamys and crown, around dN CONStAN TINUS PP AV, rev. cross potent on base and three steps, below CONOBK, around VICTORIA AVGU**D*, (S.937, DOC II 2, MIB 4a). Slightly clipped, nearly extremely fine and very scarce.
