Constantius II, (A.D. 337-361), gold solidus, Antioch mint, 2nd officina, issued 347-355, (4.19 g), obv. pearl diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantius to right, around FL IVL CONSTAN TIVS PERP AVG, rev. Roma and Constantinopolis seated enthroned facing, each support between them a shield inscibed VOT/XX/ MVLT/XXX around legend GLORIA REI PVBLICAE, in exergue SMANB, (S.17740, RIC 84, Depeyrot 6/4), Some surface scratches, good very fine and a rare variety.
