Constans II, (641-668), silver hexagram (6.26 g), Constantinople mint, issued 647-651, obv. large facing bust with short beard of Constans, wearing chlamys and crown with cross, around dN CONSTAN TINyS P P [AV], rev. Cross potent on base and three steps, around dEUS AdI]UTA [ROMAN]IS, some leters reversed, (S.991, DOC 50, To.114-5, BMC 80-84). Toned, weak in places, good fine - nearly very fine and scarce.
