Commodus, (A.D. 177-192), AE sestertius, Rome Mint, issued A.D. 183, (22.59 g), obv. laureate head of Commodus to right, around [M COMM]ODVS ANTONINVS AVG [PIVS], rev. around TR P VIII [IMP VI] COS IIII P P, S C across field, Felicitas standing left holding caduceus and cornucopiae, (cf.S.5777, RIC 370, C.907). Deep green patina, some surface roughness, nearly extremely fine and scarce.
