Lucius Verus, (A.D. 161-169), AE as, Rome mint, (10.22 g), issued A.D. 164, obv. bare head to right, around L VERVS AVG ARMENIACVS, rev. captive Armenia in attitude of mourning, seated left on ground amidst arms, trophy in background behind, around TR P IIII IMP II COS II, SC across, ARMEN in exergue, (S.5407, RIC 1364 [Aurelius], BMC 1135, C.9). Brown patina, very fine and very scarce.
