Domitian, (90-91 A.D.), silver denarius, Rome Mint, (3.41 g), issued in 89 B.C., obv. laureate head of Domitian to right around IMP CAES DOMIT AVG GERM P M TR P VIIII, rev. IMP XXI COS XIIII CENS P P P, Minerva advancing to right on galley holding a shield in left hand and javelin in right hand, (S.2734, RIC 144, BMC 159, RSC 258). Lightly toned, nearly extremely fine, very scarce.
