Egypt, Kingdom of, Ptolemy IV, (222-204 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (13.88 g), posthumous issue under Ptolemy V, uncertain military mint in Phoenicia, issued c.202-200 B.C., obv. head of Ptolemy to right, diademed and draped, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, B to left, NI between legs, around **BASILEWS [PTO]LEMAIOU*, (cf.S.7837, BMC 23, SNG Cop 529). Attractively toned, a few surface marks, nearly extremely fine - extremely fine and very rare.
