Macedon, Kingdom of, Antigonos Gonatas, silver tetradrachm, 271-239 B.C., Amphipolis Mint, issued 274/1-260/255 B.C., (17.15 g), obv. horned Pan's head to left, with lagobolon on shoulder, all within Macedonian shield, rev. Athena Alkidemos advancing to left, with thunderbolt and shield, Macedonian helmet in field to left, HP monogram on inner right, to right **BASILEWS*, to left **ANTIGONOU*, (S.6783, Panagopoulou 79-80, SNG Berry 364, SNG Cop. 1200, Touratsoglou 20, HGC 3.1, 1042). Nearly extremely fine and rare.
