Macedon, Kingdom of, Alexander III, (336-323 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.50 g), Arados mint, issued 328-320 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right with lion skin, dotted border, rev. Zeus seated to left, eagle in outstretched hand, to right and below **ALEXANDROU BASILEWS*, **L* to left and **AP* monogram under throne, line border (cf.S.6749, Price 3320, BMC 3320, M.1362, specimens in Demanhur hoard). Toned, nearly fine.
