Thrace, Kingdom of, Lysimachos, (323-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.01 g), Lysimachia mint, issued about 281 B.C., obv. head of Alexander to right, with diadem and horn of Ammon, within dotted circle, rev. Athena enthroned to left, supporting Nike, spear across shoulder behind, in inner left field **F*, in exergue a lion's head to left, **BASILEWS* to right, **LUSIMAXOU* to left, (cf.S.6814, Meydancikkale Hoard 2591 [Pl.75 same dies], SNG Cop. 1130 [Pl.23], cf.M.45, cf.Thompson 13 [same obverse die], pl.16, 10]). Good very fine/nearly extremely fine.
