Manchester, W. & J. Beardsley, Pomona Gardens, Cornbrook, Hulme, advertising check in bronze (25mm). A few small oxidation spots, otherwise good very fine.
Pomona Gardens was a pleasure garden at Cornsbrook near the centre of Manchester. It was opened in 1845 by William and Joseph Beardsley. It closed its doors in 1888.
