Malay Peninsula and Sumatra, an extensive collection of mostly tin coins from the various states mostly from the 17-18th century, the issues are divided into states and mostly carefully identified many to specific rulers and SS numbers; Johore, small tin pieces (33); Trengganu (10); Kelantan (8); Penang (1) tin cent with Governor Farguhar initials, c1805 (KM.9) probably a modern copy (19.85 g) (illustrated); Perak, bird (1 (illustrated) and fish cast tin (4) coinage, several from Singapore Sales, one from Noble Numismatics Sale 113 (lot 5728); Acheh, tin coinage (9); Demak Sultanate (7); Palembang tin pitis (78) many from Noble Numismatics Sale 113 (lot 5729?); Bangka, Pangkal Pinang, tin jokah (like Chinese Cash but named to individuals) (22); Djambi (5); Bantam (1), (Millies 112). Mostly very good - fine, a few better all described on 2x2 holders and all stored in a cliplock album. (185)
