China, Qing Dynasty, Kansu Province, silver kidney shaped sycee ingot, two tael sycee with two groups of characters on face, 33x21x15mm (59.7 g) similar to type of Gansu Province with flat face and deep sides, above across place of manufacture, Anxi district for this ingot, (cf.Cribb 384 [Pl.46]). Very fine and rare.
