Pair to WIA: British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19 with MID. 2274 L-Cpl J.J.Winterbottom 53 Bn A.I.F. on both medals. Impressed. Mounted on a wooden plaque, very fine.
Together with WWI tribute medal in 9ct gold (5.2g, 35x26mm) inscribed on reverse 'Lc Cpl/J.J.Winterbottom/From the/People of/Lyndhurst & District/on his return from/Active Service/March 1919'; also postcard photograph of J.J.Winterbottom.
