Parthia, Kingdom of, Phraates IV, (38-2 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (12.64 grams), Seleucia mint, issued September 289 (Seleucid era) = 23 B.C., obv. large size bare-headed bust to left with long beard, wearing diadem, wart on forehead, rev. king enthroned to right receiving palm branch from Tyche holding cornucopiae, seven line inscription, including year and month **[Q]PS UPERBE[RETAIOU]*, (cf.S.7466, Sellwood 51.42, cf.Shore 272). Bright, very fine and rare.
