Severus Alexander, (A.D.222-235), AE dupondius, Rome mint, (10.22 g), issued 223, obv. radiate head of Severus Alexander to right, around IMP CAES M AVR SEV ALEXANDER AVG, rev. Securitas enthroned to left holding sceptre, and with lighted altar at feet, around SECVRITAS PERPETVA, S C in exergue, (S.8055, RIC 612, cf.C.539). Nearly very fine with dark green patination.
