Ionia, Phokaia, (c330 B.C.), electrum hekte or sixth stater, (2.54 g), obv. female head to left, hair in sphendone, rev. quadripartite incuse punch, (cf.S.4531, Bodenstedt 109.2 [p.178, Pl.49, 2 examples recorded from the same pair of dies a/**a*]; SNG Aberdeen Newnham Davis 1, part 2 No.277; Montagu [1896], lot 582 [same dies]. Good very fine and very rare.
