Group of Seven: The Most Distinguished Order of St Michael and St George, Companion (CMG), neck badge; Distinguished Service Order (GVR); 1914 Star, - clasp - 5th Aug.-22nd Nov. 1914; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19 with MID; France, Legion of Honour (Officer); France, Croix de Guerre 1914-1918, with Bronze palm and Silver star. First two medals and last two medals unnamed as issued, Major G.B.Mackenzie. R.G.A. on third medal, Brig.Gen. G.B.Mackenzie. on fourth and fifth medals. The named medals impressed. The DSO mounted in reverse, otherwise toned good very fine - extremely fine.

Note: entitled to The Most Honourable Order of the Bath (Companion) (CB).

Appt Brevet Lt Col (Siege Arty), LG 18/2/1915, p1690; Appt T/Lt Col while commanding Heavy Arty Grp, LG 10/11/1916, p10952; Completed 4 years' service as Regimental Lt. Colonel 01May1921, LG 2/5/1921, p3522; Retired 26Feb1925 and granted honorary rank of Brig Gen, LG 27/2/1925, p1427.

In 1930 was on London Council of China Inland Mission and in January 1930 wrote two articles in their journal (pp 7, 169) titled 'The Prayer of Companionship'. In 1934 was Vice President of The Mission to Lepers.
