Australia, Owen Mk.1 (1952) bayonet, the grip marked on both sides, 'SLAZ/52', the scabbard marked, 'MANGROVITE44', the blade (25.5cm) marked at the ricasso on one side, 'O above an arrow, a broad arrow and then 54' (indicates made by Lithgow Small Arms Factory in 1954), on the opposing side, 'X (proof mark) and then MA/53', the scabbard is fitted into a khaki webbed bayonet frog with various markings on the reverse. Very fine.
